Special Education students have a unique set of needs that are difficult to meet in the best of learning environments. The challenges increase tenfold in a virtual environment. This session will share best practices to support the learning needs of SPED students in a virtual environment. We will discuss integrating immersive reader and use voice- to- text in Microsoft. Utilize FlipGrid for oral presentations. Implement Microsoft Math and Khan Academy for reinforcing skills. Embrace the power of Teams and Zoom to provide small group and 1:1 instruction. Explore options in Quiver and Merge to bring information to life! Meet in Kahoot! to compete for points and assess what students know. The practices are endless!
