VerAttend
Now Online!
VerAttend, FETC’s official online program attendance certification system, will allow you to track your attendance for Ticketed Workshops, Keynotes, Concurrent Sessions, Technology Solution Seminars, and Learning Lab Theater Presentations. You must have your name badge scanned at the entry of each session to record your attendance.
New this year, FETC has made this information available to all attendees online as an official verification of participation in this professional development activity post event. Each participant received an email to log into their registration dashboard on 2/17/2012 to view or print their individually earned professional development VerAttend credit report and certificate. It will then be the responsibility of the attendee to present this verification to your professional development director for continuing education credits. It is also up to individual organizations as to how they will credit your participation.
If you would like to access to the attendee registration dashboard to view your VerAttend report online, go to:

You will need to have the email address used during registration and badge number on your attendee name badge to access this information. If you do not have that information, click on the "Forgot Your Login" information button for support.Professional Development Credits.
In a constantly changing world, it is essential that educators and administrators keep current with the latest research and innovations if higher student achievement is to be realized. FETC values continuous learning and technology integration into the curriculum. Every attendee at FETC is eligible to earn up to 40 hours continuing education units depending on the number and length of workshops, keynotes and sessions attended.
Inservice Master Plan Points for renewal of the Florida Teaching Certificate are granted by each teacher’s individual school district by the Staff Development Director. In many cases, workshops taken by teachers at FETC are eligible for credit.
-Florida Public School Educators: Contact your district’s professional development department to see how FETC can support your Individual Professional Development Plan. Follow your district’s procedures for earning credit.
-Florida Private School Educators: Contact your school’s staff development director or the schools’ umbrella organization to see if it has a state-approved master in-service plan and how FETC can support your Individual Professional Development Plan. If there is a plan in place, follow the organization’s procedures for earning credit. If the organization does not have a plan, points cannot be awarded for certificate renewal.
-Out-of-State and Out-of-Country Educators: Contact your state or district professional development representative before the conference to determine what you must do for FETC to qualify for continuing education credit.
